How I got to where I am...
I have always loved to bake! So I started a tradition that I would bake all of my kids birthday cakes from scratch. It's been a fun and a wonderful learning experience! I have always hated the taste of fondant so I never used it. I just did the best I could with icing, but a wonderful friend gave me a recipe for marshmallow fondant (MMF). It is so tasty! Now I can do so many things with cakes, and they do look nice, more polished looking. So now I am expanding my cake baking to you. I would love to bake a cake for your next special occasion.

These cookies look SO yummy!!! This is a GREAT blog, I am so glad you started it! I really enjoy making my boys' birthday cakes too, fortunately we celebrate them in the summer. But it's just about every other holiday I struggle to find time. Donnie graduates from OCS Feb. 4, I know it's a ways off... but I would LOVE one of your cakes! That marshmallow fondant sounds super yummy!! See you at church tomorrow! =)
